Emerging Latin American artist Antonii turns up the heat with the release of his debut EP Limber (pronounced Leem-berh). The Miami born, LA-based singer is no stranger to the music scene, having collaborated with Travis Scott on “Lights (Love Sick),” a bonus track featured on Scott’s EP Owl Pharaoh. Antonii aims to join the likes of other artists like J.Lo, Luis Fonsi, Cardi B, J. Balvin, and Bad Bunny who continue to bring Latin music to the forefront of mainstream radio. Limber presents a blend of Latin and Caribbean vibes partnered with sensual undertones. Produced by The Invaders (Normani, DAWN), Limber signifies how a mixture of sorts can create the sweetest sounds. “Limber is a Puerto Rican Icee which comes in different flavors,” says Antonii. “Because of my mixed heritage (of Caribbean descent) and my closeness to the sabor (flavor) of Puerto Rico, the name (Limber) represents the mixture of sounds in my music.” Antonii took to various locations in Puerto Rico to capture the culture that inspires his music. The visual, shot a week before the aftermath of Hurricanes Irma and Maria, soothes our imagination with images of San Juan, Ponce, and Arecibo. Following the devastation of the hurricanes, Antonii dedicates his visual love letter to Puerto Rico. Watch the visual for Limber here.
