Actor and recording artist, Terrence Green drops new video 'Take the Throne,' off of the soundtrack for 'Step Up High Water Season 2.' Produced by Timbaland, 'Take the Throne,' delivers an up-tempo banger that describes the struggle and triumph of Rigo, played by Green.
The Step Up High Water Series follows the artistic journey of several students who attend famed performing arts school High Water, founded by recording artist, Sage Odem, (Ne-Yo). Season 1, Rigo has a falling out with Sage due to past circumstances surrounding an old friendship between Rigo's father, East-O and Sage. He ends up being kicked out of High Water and becoming an enemy to Sage just like his father. By the end of the season, Rigo has lost a couple of friendships, his opportunity at High Water, and his father who was murdered. In Season 2, we see how Rigo channels his anger and his grief in his music, releasing 'Take the Throne' and how he is fueled to pursue his music career.
Besides 'Take the Throne,' Green has recorded 3 other tracks ('Bow Down,' Poppin' Off,' and Gotta Get It') featured on the 'Step Up High Water Season 2' Soundtrack, all produced by Timbaland.
